We are upgrading our fleets. Yes, line haul, regional and dedicated trucks are being upgraded. We have new Freightliner Columbia series trucks being delivered monthly. The new truck comes with a 14L Detroit 435 horsepower engine and air ride suspension. This combination will give you the pulling power needed to get the job done, plus the comfort most drivers are seeking. Also, our existing trucks are being powered up to 425 horsepower.

In addition to the above, we provide our drivers with Qualcomm for a more efficient communication system. No more stopping, looking for a telephone and waiting for the driver that is using it to get finished. Our drivers are on the road making money instead of waiting in the truck stop to find out where and when the next load is to be picked up.

To make life a little easier for you, Prepass transponders have been installed to take care of tolls. No more waiting in line and stressing out wondering if the scale man is going to red light you to come inside. Even if everything is in proper order, time is still wasted and as every driver knows, time is money.

News from Operations

Our policy on New York City has changed. Drivers have the choice of whether to go or not. With the limited amount of freight that goes to New York City, we have enough drivers willing to go that can handle the freight. Also, our freight lane keeps us out of the New England States and Canada.

Our focus is to provide, you the driver, with the best possible opportunities to make money and have the best home time available. We try hard to work with you, whether you want to run over the weekend or be home for the weekend.

Many changes have been made and many more are being worked on. These changes are made with the driver in mind. Our new trucks have higher horsepower engines, prepass for the tolls and air-ride suspension for driver comfort. There is no forced dispatch to New York City, New England or Canada. Freight lanes are being arranged so that the best possible home time is available to all drivers. Just recently, our safety department changed the rider program from a 90-day waiting period to a 30-day period. These are just a few of the recent changes.
